I have chosen to analyse the movie ' Evil Dead ' and how the font of the titles are effective.
The font used in the title is very bold and straight , it stands out due to the big letters used and how they cover he whole the screen. The font is animated as it is first a plain red colour with no other detail , and you being able to see veins grow through the writing which leads you to think straight away of blood due to the colour aswell as the veins. Red has connotations with horror movies in the form of blood, death and fear itself this is a typical use in horror movies.
Another thing with it being so bright and detailed it shows gore and blood maybe giving a sence of the whole movie and how it may be very brutal and full of murder maybe showing alot of blood.
