Storyboard Changes

At first our storyboard was quite dense and long. To be honest we did not change much , we followed our first thoughts as they took allot of time and planning and we thought they went well and worked.

One thing we did decide to take out was the vicini sign on the door at the end of the film , we found that this would be hard to do and we would have to use some very detailed work and we simply did not have the technology to do this. In the end we decided to fade to a blank screen instead and in the end we thought this looked more professional and gave more of a mysterious feel to the film.

In the storyboard i have picked out two other scenes that we have taken out. These are a scenes with putting the child's bike onto the bin , and cooking the carrots. We decided that the bike would not be easy to work with and putting it into a daily bin is not an easy task and that its just not practical, and we want the film to look as natural and easy going as possible to help it flow and draw in the audience.
With the carrots we simply did not want to include this. We could of done it easily but we thought it would just look too staged. We wanted Mr.Vicini to be interrupted in his daily activities suddenly by the dead body , and we thought the cooking would interrupt the flow of the movie and change the psychological feel of him using a knife.

We took out a few shots that we planned to take , this is just due to the time limit we had and we did not want it to drag , this picture illustrates what shots we took out.
