What Kind of Media Indistution Might Distribute Our Product and Why ?

Many institutions may distribute our product , this could be magazines , television and radio may advertise our movie to the audience.

Shows like film4 may show our product on their late night viewing screens where they usually put it horror , or less appropriate movies on. They would pick our product as it fits the theme of the movie they show later at night and attracts the 15 above audience.

Our product is perfect for magazines , we have already designed a pster of cover that can be used on the magazines , the magazines again would use our product as it gives them more of a target audience to target. This could increase sales fr the magazines as they would be interested , this again benefits us as we make more sales.

Finlay radio shows like heart or radio one may distribute our product through advertising . We would have to pay them for this so they would be paid to have it on their show therefore benefiting them. This benefits us as many people would be told about our product and they may be interested from the information given and will give us more sales.

All of these institutions are used by people 15 and above which is the targeted audience for VICINI , this allows us to make people aware of our product and what it offers giving us more sales , but also it does benefit them financially and may cause them to gain more viewers.

What Have You Learnt About Technologies From The Process Of Constructing This Product ?

While doing the work I came across alot of new things that I never seen before.

One of these things would be a camera , I have never actually filmed anyone in detail for a purpose so straight away thus was something new for me , at first i tohught the camera would be simple to use and would be just pressing a couple of buttons and keeping a steady hand. I soon learned this was not the case and there was alot more that could be done on the device given. You can edit contrasts and sound is very fragile and can be hard to hear or you can hear too much. Also the rule of thirds was key when filming our product , this was completely new to me i just thought if its on the screen its fine. This is not the case.

Another thing that was new for me was adobe premiere elements . This is the programme we used for our editing , the only other application i had used for editing was movie maker. This was completely different , at first it was very complected and i had no idea what i was doing , then after being taught the ropes and having experience from the preliminary tasks given. While experiencing difficulties and things going wrong i learnt alot about editing. The transitions with things like match on action must be exact and very precise , if not the movie does not look authentic and almost seems staged. The sound and music is very key. The music cannot just jump straight in and cannot just cut when speech occurs . It must be faded , the music must build to create tension ( in our case due to us making a horror movie ). Fading helped me through the process , this allowed me to make my transitions smoother in the movie instead of just cutting straight through , and it was very simple to add , all i had to do is add it to the key frame which i want to fade in or out.

Even this what I'm writing on now ( blogger ) is new to me. I have now developed my skills from wiritng on my blog , i now know how to write on them from experience and looking on other peoples. This is demonstrated when looking back thorugh my blog.

Overall i have learnt so much is a short period of tieme , being it on a computer or using a camera , it has allowed me to create my product to a high standard that works and looks natural with editing and filming a like. There is a lot to learn but all of it comes wit experience and i believe this had helped in the process of constructing this product.
